ARCHITECTURAL STYLING

Brick Yard Station will consist of low-maintenance, urban-style townhomes and multi-family residences, with two small enclaves of single-family homes. Its architectural design is consistent with historic neighborhoods in Washington, DC, Baltimore and surrounding towns. In keeping with the brick making history of the site, brick will be used extensively on all exterior elevations and will be mixed with other high-quality building materials to insure a rich texture and long-term value.

The Brick Yard Station land plan is extremely flexible, allowing for a mix of the proposed housing types. The approved land plan currently provides for the following mix of home designs:
  • Up to 860 Multi-family Residences ranging in size from 540 to over 1,200 square feet, with an average unit size of approximately 950 square feet.
  • 354 Townhomes ranging from flexible unit configurations of 16’ to 24’ wide and 36’ to 50’ deep and 3 to 4 stories in height.
  • 51 Single Family Residences.

The land plan as shown incorporates the following mix of units:

  • 860 Multi Family Residences
  • 118 16-Foot Wide Alley Loaded Townhomes
  • 164 20-Foot Wide Alley Loaded Townhomes
  • 8 24-Foot Wide Alley Loaded Townhomes
  • 64 24-Foot Wide Street Loaded Townhomes
  • 51 Single-Family Homes
