ON THE MOVE WITH EVERY
TRANSIT OPTION
Public transit is a core component of sustainable design, and of Brick Yard Station. The community is next door – a short walking distance – to MARC Rail’s Muirkirk Station on the Camden line. MARC connects with Metro, and riders can directly access Metro at the Greenbelt and College Park/ University of Maryland stations, both on the Green line. MARC and Metro also connect with AMTRAK at Union Station in Washington, DC and with Baltimore’s Metro system.
Driving to and from Brick Yard Station is also easy, with its location at a crossroads of some of the most traveled highways in the Maryland National Capital region. Daily commuting from Brick Yard Station can even be done by bicycle, along trails being built as part of the community and the extensive trail system maintained by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC)
